An event at Emma Krumbee’s Apple Orchard and Farm delights guests of all ages, with a variety of activities, shopping, delicious food and snacks, and our beautiful walking and play areas. We offer unique activities and provide a great location for your next meeting or retreat.

Located only 45 minutes from Minneapolis or Mankato on Highway 169, we provide easy access and plenty of parking for motor coaches and school buses. A member of our staff will meet your vehicle and assist you throughout your visit.

Buses and Motorcoaches
Motorcoaches and groups are always welcome at Emma Krumbee’s, although your advance notice allows us to be prepared for larger groups. Normal waiting time seldom exceeds 5 to 10 minutes, which gives you time to explore our Bakery and General Store.

Group Tours
Emma Krumbee’s Apple Orchard and Farm offers educational and fun tours for every age group, with plenty of learning opportunities, as well as fun time to enjoy the great outdoors at the orchard. Tours are reserved for groups of 15 or more.

Very Berry Tour: $5.00 per person, plus tax. Visit our hydroponic strawberry patch and learn about how our strawberries grow in vertical stackers instead of in the ground. You’ll have a chance to pick your own strawberries and taste some, too. Then, enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the orchard, a ride on the Blue Line Express Barrel Train, access to play areas, including Emma’s mountain slide, all-terrain farm pedal trikes, tile maze, rope maze, and the Half Peck Play Area with large wooden pirate ship, monster truck, and tractor.

Bloom & Grow Tour: $5.00 per person, plus tax. Join our garden center staff for a story in Emma Krumbee’s Greenhouse. Plant your own flower in a pot to take home. Then, enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the orchard, a ride on the Blue Line Express Barrel Train, access to play areas, including Emma’s mountain slide, all-terrain farm pedal trikes, tile maze, rope maze, and the Half Peck Play Area with large wooden pirate ship, monster truck, and tractor.

Fall Scarecrow Festival Tours:

Festival Tour: $5.00 per person, plus tax. This tour includes admission into the Scarecrow Festival with over 100 scarecrows on display, a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the orchard, a ride on the Blue Line Express Barrel Train, visit the farm animals and goat habitrail at Emma’s Petting Zoo, access to play areas, including Emma’s mountain slide, all-terrain farm pedal trikes, tile maze, rope maze, giant hay pile, and the Half Peck Play Area with large wooden pirate ship, monster truck, and tractor.

Festival Adventure Tour: $7.00 per person, plus tax. This tour includes all of the Festival Tour attractions, plus each guest receives a sweetie pie pumpkin, an apple, a pumpkin cookie and animal feed for the petting zoo.
